The Public Works Department,

Roads, Bridges, Piers etc. (Haintenance) Dept.,

HONGKONG.

Dear Sirs,

We have pleasure in enclosing herewith a photograph of a road in London which has a traffic of 17,000 tons per day and which road has been covered with Colfix material. We think you will agree that this is

a tremendous amount of traffic for any road to carry, and as the material under such conditions in London has proven to be very satisfactory, and as the traffic in Hongkong would not by any means approximate this figure, we thin that this advertisement is a further splendid illustration of the suitability of our material.

In view of the fact,

therefore, that Colfix now has an enormous outlet in the United Kingdom, and as business in most other markets throughout the World is continually on the increase, we are rather disappointed with the comparatively poor support which we have had from the local Authorities. We recognise at the same time certain difficulties with which you are faced, but we trust you will soon be in a position to give us further substantial business, the result of which we are quite sure will be to our mutual benefit. Meantime, we thank you for previous small orders which we have had the pleasure of executing, and trusting that we shall soon again be favoured with further business from you,

je are,

For,

Yours faithfully,

COLFIX (FAR EAST) LTD.,

NC/NF

Director.
